JESSIE RICHARDSON

RCC #20598

Jessie Richardson is a certified Synergetic Play Therapist with extensive training in neuroscience-informed approaches to therapy. She has trained with Madeleine De Little and is certified in Neuroscience in the Sand Tray as well as AutPlay Therapy. Jessie is also informed in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and integrates this framework into her work with clients of all ages.

As a certified yoga instructor, Jessie incorporates body-based practices such as movement and mindfulness into the counselling process. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Neuroscience, Attachment Theory, and Internal Family Systems. She works with children, adolescents, and adults using a range of expressive modalities, including art, sand tray, play, talk therapy, and movement. These creative tools help clients build safety, explore challenges, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

Jessie brings over 20 years of experience working in the school system in roles including teacher, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) coordinator, and counsellor. She continues to work part-time in schools, giving her valuable insight into the expectations and dynamics of school environments. Jessie has particular expertise supporting neurodiverse individuals and those with medical diagnoses.

At the heart of Jessie’s practice is a deep respect for each client’s unique path. She meets people where they are with compassion, care, and curiosity—empowering them to move at their own pace. Whether beginning or continuing a healing journey, clients can expect a safe, supportive space where their strengths are honored and growth is nurtured.
